No matter what formula is used, Wisconsin always ranks near the top of the list of states that place the highest tax burden upon it's citizens. Almost every year for the last fifteen years, Wisconsin has ranked among the six highest taxed states in the nation. The citizens of Wisconsin annually pay $3 billion more in state and local taxes than the national average.
The question is, how much more government spending can we afford? The politicians in office today are more interested in representing the plans of the special interest groups no matter how costly they are. The political ruling elitists of both parties, have no interest in developing a long range sustainable spending plan without tax and fee increase and without using gimmicks that produce the illusion of a balanced budget.
It doesn't take long for the institutionalized mind-set of Madison to seduce the most well meaning newly elected individual into the ranks of "defenders of the status quo." Until a unified group of individuals committed to the principles and ideals of limited government run against current office holders of both parties, we have little hope for meaningful change.
Let's put an end to the ever expanding role that government makes into our personal lives. The loss of spending our own hard earned income directly equates to the loss of our freedoms.
CLEAN SWEEP WISCONSIN CANDIDATES WILL:
PREVENT ANY FURTHER INCREASES OF PROPERTY TAXES, INCOME TAXES AND ANY OTHER TAXES OR USER FEES.
ENHANCE GREATER LEGISLATIVE OVERSIGHT OF COST CONTROL MEASURES AT ALL LEVELS OF GOVERNMENT.
SUPPORT A MORATORIUM ON NEW LAWS THAT INTERFERE WITH THE PERSONAL FREEDOMS, LIBERTIES AND ECONOMIC DECISIONS OF WISCONSIN INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES AND BUSINESSES.
STABILIZE GOVERNMENT SPENDING TO BE WITHIN CURRENT REVENUES.
